Important Dates to Remember:

• Mandatory Teacher Meet and Greet: Monday, May 19th, 2025, at 6:00pm in the foyer of The Shepherd of the Mountains Church

  • At this brief but important meeting, you will get to:

    • Meet your child's teachers

    • Select your September co-op date

    • Sign up for your chosen classroom clean-up date (a Saturday morning, Fall or Spring. We will have the specific dates and times available at sign up)

    • Submit your $100 materials fee (covering a T-shirt, snow clothes bag, individual school supplies and field trips)

    • Choose your Parent Job for the school year ​(please review the list in the FAQs)

    • Meet other incoming families

  • Please note that we will have a more detailed Parent Meeting in August, where you'll get to meet the parent board, review our school handbook, sit in your child's classroom with all of your child's classmates' parents and hear from your child's teachers about specifics such as drop-off/pickup policies, the co-op calendar sign-up process, recommended snack and lunch items, recommended winter gear, etc.

 

• Orientation Days: This is an opportunity for your child to meet their teacher, meet their classmates and experience a short day at Shining Stars before their first real day of school

  • Red Star Orientation will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 11:00-12:30pm 

  • MON/WEDS Blue Star Orientation will be on Monday, August 25, 2025, 9:00-10:30am

  • TUES/THURS Blue Star Orientation will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2025, 9:00-10:30am

• Mandatory Back to School Parent Meeting: Monday, August 25, 2024 at 6:30pm

  • At this meeting, you will meet the parent board, review our school handbook, sit in your child's classroom with all of your child's classmates' parents and hear from your child's teachers about specifics such as drop-off/pickup policies, the co-op calendar sign-up process, recommended snack and lunch items, recommended winter gear, etc.
